Steam Story:
It was the cramps for me!!! So intense that I could barely get out of bed some days. Calling out of work because the pain was just unbearable. Not to mention the flow…it was so heavy!! Going through 3 pads in 1 hour. What’s causing this? How can it stop? I later found out i had a small case of fibroids, which was uncommon in women my age. I was 19 at the time, usually fibroids appear in women ages 30-40. The doctors tried everything, hormonal birth controls (which tested my mental health), anti-inflammatory drugs, you name it!! Nothing worked for me.
After a year of different treatments, they had given up on me. They told me the only thing that would help is a partial hysterectomy. I WAS 19 YEARS OLD WITH NO CHILDREN. I was devastated I fell into a deep depression and couldn’t understand…why me! One of my really good friends lived a vegan/ plant based lifestyle and told me that I should look into Holistic health. I wasn’t a very spiritual person at the time, and knew nothing about Herbs, but I stayed up late one night and did research of my own and found an article on Vaginal Steaming. Boy was I amazed!!
I wanted to know more. I found books, videos and testimonials and couldn’t believe it. I must admit, at first I wasn’t sold. I thought to myself there’s no way steaming over Herbs is gonna magically take away these horrific cramps and these reoccurring fibroids.
