    What a fantastic course! I am an Acupuncturist who focuses on women’s health. I do a lot of work with pregnancy and labor encouragement but wasn’t seeing a lot of clients postpartum for continued care.     I am 22 years postpartum from my first child…and I say this because in this course I learned that I never actually recovered from that birth and almost all of my issues were explained within this course material. I am 1000% grateful that I now have this information and can give it to my daughter if she decides to have a baby. This course covers pre-labor steaming, birth steaming and postpartum steaming…in all situations! Highly recommend.

    The absolute BEST part about this course is that Keli has really done the work to educate steam facilitators about what an optimally supported postpartum period should look like. In our country, our postpartum care is abysmal. This course teaches facilitators how to fill the gaps that so many postpartum people experience, whether that’s through providing individualized steam plans or referring to the appropriate providers. I also really love the parameters she and Raquelle developed for what a fully healed postpartum person experiences. We need more of this.

    I finished the course work and I am looking for a participant to finish the course. I am a doula and I learned to steam in another course.I feel this has provided me more information and details to successfully steam all clients. Because I did the labor prep class, and I am going to combine them for a package. Many women do not think about postpartum period or hiring for that period. I can do a combined package and if issues arise I can identify and work with the Mom/ birthing person. I al ready do a postpartum planning session so I want this to also be included in that session. This course is so needed if you are a birth worker of any kind you should take this course.

    Wow, this course was a lot more involved than I thought it would be. In a good way. Although I was a bit overwhelmed when I jumped straight to this course from the VSF, skipping the rest of the semester 1 courses. I ended up going back to do the courses in order, and that helped me get a much better grasp of the material here in the postpartum course. I can see now why it is in semester 2.
