Description
Introductory study of facilitating pelvic steamcare sessions. Includes pre-screening to identify steam user contraindications including medical steam contraindications, uterine bleeding steam contraindications, excess heat steam contraindications and pregnancy contraindications. Thorough training on steam user sensitivities including excess heat steam user sensitivity and medical steam user sensitivity and the corresponding modifications for steam setup and duration. Full discussion of steam herb formula categories and how to select the right formula based on steam user type sensitivities.
This course is the foundation of the Steamy Chick Institute certification program. It is based on clinical work with thousands of clients and the concluding observations of how to understand different steam user types and the modifications they may need for their steam setup, duration and herb formula selection. The content is one-of-a-kind and cannot be skipped even if someone has knowledge of steaming from other sources.

This is a good introduction to safe application of the technique if you have no background on it. I loved the format that makes it easy to go through for those that have very little time for their own projects. Also the way Keli talks makes it very easy to asimilate. Probably the major thing of this course is to give a perspective of a ‘safe way’ on vaginal steaming.
It might be interesting though to have this course with a deeper analysis on some subjects like: alternative postures and display for your steam, or the water we use and the materials to make a safe steam station. And I would have loved to have some more information about herbs, cause even if there’s an entire training around them, it feels dangerous to jump to them without any knowledge ahead taking this training.

This course takes you to the next level of healing yourself and/or your customers.
Understanding the way steam actually works within your body and how you can use it for different purposes makes the whole experience much more powerful.
Also it is very nice to share online with your steam healing sisters about the knowledge and experiences that you gain throughout this course.
Moreover, the course is easy to combine with other activities, but you do have to make the effort to go out and do it. Go and buy herbs, go and do the exercises. For me this has really been joyfull and didn’t feel like studying all too much.
Last but not least, if you are already a therapist and want to add this to your skills, you should definitely do it. In my experiences the treatment of steaming helps to reinforce benefits and insights gained with other therapies…
