Steam Story:

I love vaginal steaming as a gentle root embodiment practice, a way of softening into pleasure and presence in the vagina and pelvic bowl. I learned about steaming through INNATE postpartum care training, and began practicing steaming as a case study on myself. Not only did my ovulation return after experiencing months of anovulatory cycles, I also found relief from menstrual cramps. But most exciting to me was greater sensation and awareness of my pelvic bowl, the pleasure + power of bringing consistent care and attention to this place. I offer vaginal steaming to others as a way to support somatic awareness of the pelvic bowl, heal postpartum, resolve pelvic pain and trauma, and cultivate pleasure. Honoring the softening, expansion, oceanic desire, and all the sensations that steaming can help us touch into, I hold a radically loving space for what emerges.
