Steam Story:

I first learned about vaginal steaming through my Mayan abdominal massage therapist in 2017. After just 1 steam, I saw a huge shift in my cycle and was amazed. About a year later I saw an interview with Keli and was hooked. By the end of the video I was signed up to be a Vaginal Steam Facilitator. Today I am working my way through the Peristeam Hydrotherapist program.

I offer steaming services because I am passionate about this healing modality. I have seen just how effective it can be and want other women to know that they aren’t alone. That they are seen, heard, and valued. My goal is to work with women who are looking to reclaim their power and take charge of their healing.

Vaginal steaming has brought me much more than shifts in my cycle. It has provided me answers and given me my power back. After a long time of trying to conceive and being diagnosed with “unexplained infertility,” I feel like I am finally getting answers. I can finally say that I know what my body needs to heal. This has been a long and difficult journey, but I cannot wait for its end result.

In the meantime, I am working with women to get to know their bodies a little better. As a trauma-informed practitioner, I believe that pain, imbalances, and other symptoms are ways in which the body is communicating its needs. The body requests healing through many different avenues and it is up to us to listen to these clues. Vaginal steaming is one of the ways that we can nurture ourselves back to health. Just because a person has spend a span of time enduring symptoms, does not mean they have to spend the rest of their life doing so. You are worth the time and energy it takes to heal.
