In 2018, researchers from Dae-Jeon University published a case report exploring whether or not vaginal steaming could help prevent endometriosis from re-occurring (as is common) post surgical removal. They worked with a patient who had already had recurring endometriosis return after surgery. Using vaginal steaming and other holistic methods the patient managed to stay endometriosis free for 34 months.
